Think about the Chronic Disease from a different way.

Why Chronic Diseases can not been cured?

If a disease was defined as a chronic diseases, it usually means it is a long term, even a life-long disease. It means the patient will been suffered by the disease in the rest of his/her life. What a mess?

If we what to cure a disease, we must first know what cause it. Then we try to change the condition, and the disease can be cured. For lots of the chronic diseases, the root cause can not been addressed accurately, so the treatment can only to the symptoms. Obviously, this will not properly change the condition of the root cause, and can not cure the disease, then made this disease a chronic one. In fact, the chronic diseases can be cured!

What is TCM?

By the simple of word, TCM is the acronym of the Traditional Chinese Medicine. Maybe you will think that the TCM is really difficult to understand, and it has no means to me. Don't hurry! I will let you know that the TCM's meaningful to your health, esp. when you are a chronic disease. I will explain it to you by the words you can easily understand. And you can find out the way to cure your chronic disease from here. That's the fact, not the advertisement.

Why TCM?

TCM can address the route cause of chronic disease and offer you the right therapy to cure your chronic disease. Honestly, even in China. There are no much people know TCM well. The convention is that when people got a sick, they go to the hospital directly. And they will think that more bigger the hospital is, much brilliant the treatment does. Is it the real? Usually after they spent a lot of money and had not got achieve expectation, they will seek for other therapy, and they will choose the TCM.

Now you will have the problem about why Chinese do not know TCM well? That is because the language issue. For TCM is a ancient medicine, almost all the documents are writing in ancient Chinese, which have the great difference with the modern Chinese. Even for Chinese person, it is really difficult to understand. And also, for the TCM is developed by the ancient Chinese people, the method they used to recognize the world is different from modern people, so it is another difficult point for modern people to understand it. But the TCM is really the great legacy for human beings in term of health.

About Chinese, you may heard about the Kung Fu, Qi Gong, Acupuncture, and so on. They all tightly relative to the base of Chinese Culture. So if you can understand some base knowledge, you will be easy to know deeper about Chinese culture. And you can know TCM well. The benefit of it is you can find the right and the practicable way to treat your chronic disease and to improve your health.

There are lots of success stories about the cure of diabetes in China. I use the diabetes as the example if for it is really a complex disease, and the can not be cured by the Modern Medicine. But there a lots of Chinese diabetic successful changed their life to normal. They do not need the drugs or the insulin anymore. They realized it by use the combined therapy of the Modern Medicine, the TCM,and Qi Gong. This significantly proved that the TCM is valuable to be learnt. The diabetes is almost the most complex chronic disease. This kind of therapy can cure almost all of the chronic diseases.

Begin from understand about "Qi".

Chinese culture have the history more than 5,000 years old. It took shape and developed by the ancient Chinese people. At that time, Chinese people believe that "Qi" is the base element that construct the whole world, of course, including the human body. The TCM was developed base on this kind of believing.

In the TCM, the "Qi" have two means. One is the nutriment of the drink and food, it flow in the body. The other is the describe of the life actions of the internal organs. We can now just treat it as the "energy" by simple.

What is Yin-Yang?
Yin and Yang are the concept of dialectics. The reinforce each other. Yin means the gather of "Qi", Yang means disperse and comsume of "Qi". Yin include Yang and vice visa. In TCM, all the parts of body have Yin and Yang. Yin and Yang need to be balanced for health. The imbalance of Yin and Yang will lead to disease. For example, somebody will have the problem of the weakness of Yin on kidney, this will means that he/she will have no enough capability to gather and store "Qi" (energy). This will lead to the exhaust of Yang. The Symptom will be his/her hand is warm and dry. Long term of this problem will lead to the both weakness of Yin and Yang, caused to weakness and illness. So the TCM emphasis about the balance of Yin and Yang. All the treatment of TCM is to re-regulate the balance of Yin and Yang.

Yin and Yang give us the capability to evaluate the condition of our health by the simple way. The TCM doctor and also give us the simple way to deal with our illness, improve our health. It is all about the operate of  "Qi".

What is Zang-Fu?

TCM believe that diseases are relative with internal organs. TCM categorize internal organs to Zang and Fu. Zang include heart, liver, spleen, lung and kidney. Fu include all the others. Zang have the same character that they are all solid. Fu are all hollow. In Chinese, Zang have the meaning of storing. All the energy are relevant with Zang. The major function of Fu is to absorb the nutrition, and eliminate the waste. Let's have a look of what the major functions of Zang.

Heart:

TCM believe that heart have two major function.
The 1st is to manage the blood and the  vessel.
The 2nd is to control the spirit.
The heart actutate the blood flow in the vessel.

Liver:

Liver contain 3 major functions.
1st is to store and accommodate the amount of the blood.
2nd is to manage the release of emotion.
3rd is to manage the tendon.

Spleen:
Spleen have 3 major functions.
1st is to manage the digestion and transport of nutrition.
2nd is to contain the blood flow in the vessel.
3rd is to manage the muscle.

Lung:
Lung have 3 major functions.
1st is to control Qi's rising and down in the body.
2nd is to regulate the channel of water in the body.
3rd is to manage the skin and hair.

Kidney:
Kidney have 5 major functions.
1st to store the Jing(the essence of life). It contain two part. One part is the original essence inherit from parents. The other part is collected in the life.
2nd is to manage the water.
3rd is to maange the bone of human.
4th is to manage the store of Qi (energy).
5th is to manage the urinating and defecating.

TCM believe that the Zang and Zang, Zang and Fu are related together tightly. All the functions need to depends the regular functions of others. A little complex indeed.

What is the TCM opinion about chronic disease?

Some of the chronic diseases have the characters of constancy, for examples diabeteshypertension, frozen shoulder, and rheumatoid arthritis
. And some others have the characters of paroxysmal, such as asthma, chronic bronchitis, migraine headache, heartburn. They all caused about the weakness and/or dysfunction of internal organs, or the disharmony between internal organs. At this point, TCM are quite different from the Modern MedicineTCM can address to the route caused of those chronic diseases. At this point, maybe you will think it is unbelivable. But it is right, for the TCM therapy base on this kind of diagnosis did really work well. So, for different kind of chronic diseasesTCM offer different therapy to change the condition and cure the disease can be the final result.

The healthy level of your organs will decide the healthy level of your body. If you fall ill into a chronic disease, it means that your relevant organs had a bad condition which is enough to make you get in sick. That is really bad, for it may also possible to cause other diseases. So you need to find out the right way to treat it properly.

TCM usually treat chronic disease by using different kinds of therapy to regulate the Yin and Yang, re-balance, and rising them. As you got in sick is the result of accumulate problem day by day, the gain back of the health will also take times. So usually you will not feel about the effect in a short term. But it works. And when you can observe the result, it means that the problem had been solved.

What are the therapies of TCM?

Gua Shaacupuncture, and Chinese herbs are three most popular therapy in TCM. There are also massage, which you can also treat it as a therapy. For Chinese herbs is really impossible be used for western people, we stop to talk about it. So let just talk about the acupuncture and Gua Sha. As you know that acupuncture is to use the needle to stimulate the channels to take effect, Gua Sha do the same thing by scraping the skin of the proper area of the body. For acupuncture using the needle, so it require the practitioner to know the accurate position of the acupoints. It is really challenge. So you need to do the treatment to the TCM clinic and it must be practiced by the professional. Gua Sha, take the same effect with acupuncture but do not need to know the acupoints very accurately. You only need to know the area, you can practice the Gua Sha. So you can do the treatment by yourself, that is way we call the self-treatmentGua Sha is very fit to be used by the patients of chronic disease to solve their health problem.

What is needed if I want to try Gua Sha by myself?

1, A Gua Sha Board of something with the round edge.
